Only 37% of Americans have started their holiday shopping so far. Of those who have started, 68% have finished their shopping already.
Men as usual are more likely than women to wait to the last minute to get their shopping done.
Stores being open on Thanksgiving Day are not enticing Americans to go out shopping on the holiday. Forty-four percent (44%) feel they are less likely to go out shopping on Thanksgiving Day, while the same number (44%) say the holiday store openings have no impact on their shopping plans.
But just one-in-three Americans (32%) say they are not at all likely to shop on Black Friday, the big sale day after Thanksgiving.
Most Americans will do at least some shopping online. Just 27% don't anticipate any holiday shopping on the Internet.

Black Friday/White Christmas
There's just one week to go before the biggest sales event of the year, Black Friday, but nearly one-out-of 10 Americans is already finished with their holiday shopping. For the rest of you, just tell yourselves there's still plenty of time of left.
