The Rasmussen Minute: Impeaching Trump
Candidate Donald Trump once answered a hypothetical debate question about accepting the outcome of the 2016 presidential election should Hillary Clinton prevail by saying, "I will keep you in suspense."
In response, Clinton charged that by saying that, Trump was "threatening our democracy." Since then, many have argued that it's the Democratic resistance that has not accepted Trump as the duly-elected 45th president of the United States, with loud voices on the left threatening to impeach the president from seemingly the moment he took office.
With the midterm elections coming, is the Democratic dream of impeaching Trump closer to becoming a reality? First the Democrats will need to take control of the House and the Senate this November.
Join the Rasmussen Minute this week as we look to see if impeachment is a viable campaign strategy in 2018. And if so, who might it benefit more?
