The Rasmussen Minute: Democrats Getting Tired of 'Toxic' Pelosi
While campaigning his way to the White House in 2016, then-presidential candidate Donald Trump promised his supporters that if they elected him, they'd win so much they'd actually get tired of it.
Since then, the Republicans are undefeated in four special elections, having beaten the Democrats in Kansas, South Carolina, Montana and Georgia, but it's the Democrats who are getting tired of it–and tired of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.
In the wake of Karen Handel's recent hard-fought victory over Democrat John Ossoff in Georgia's sixth Congressional District, younger House Democrats like Tim Ryan (OH), Kathleen Rice (NY) and Seth Moulton (MA) have called for Pelosi to step down and for a new generation of party leadership to step up.
Ryan, who challenged Pelosi to become the House Minority Leader last year went so far as to say that, in some areas of the country, Pelosi was even more toxic than the Deplorable Donald himself. Those are fighting words, and they're subject of this week's Rasmussen Minute.
