The Rasmussen Minute: The End of the Obama Era
Before he was swamped by deep state leaks, counter intelligence investigations, fears of being “wiretapped” and the Mother of all Resistance, Donald Trump fought an epic campaign that broke Washington D.C. free from the grip of one of its most powerful inhabitants, Barack Obama.
The personal and political confrontation between the pair of heated rivals played out for years on the world stage, culminating in a face-to-face meeting at the White House and a congratulatory hand shake from Obama to his successor, President Trump--a handshake that would signal the end of the Obama era and the beginning of Trump's time in The Swamp.
The winding road that took these two fierce political combatants down a path of mutual personal destruction to the peaceful transfer of power (and almost blossomed an unlikely bromance with Trump declaring of Obama, “He likes me”) is the subject of this week's Rasmussen Minute.
