The Rasmussen Minute: The Democratic Resistance

After eight years of controlling the White House and still smarting from their surprising loss to Donald Trump in November, the Democratic party is adjusting to life in the minority in a town where the majority rules.

Since the new president’s taken office, calls for resistance, protests, investigations, resignations, recusals and impeachment have been a hallmark of the Democrats’ apparent plan to totally oppose everything and anything Trump.

But is calling the newly minted president a fraud, delusional, illegitimate and worse a winning strategy for a party that's suffered net losses of over 1,000 state and federal positions, including congressional and state legislative seats and governorships, since 2009? Or is it just a good way to get media attention and blow off some steam?

You decide as we join Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Hillary Clinton and other party leaders inside The Democratic Resistance.
