National Survey of 1,000 American Adults
Conducted June 3-4,
By Rasmussen Reports
1* How closely have you followed recent news reports about Google Glass?
2* Google Glass is a computer you can wear on your head like a pair of eyeglasses. How likely are you to buy Google Glass when it becomes available in the United States – very likely, somewhat likely, not very likely or not at all likely?
3* Google Glass will allow wearers to take photos and videos of people without their knowledge. How likely is it that wearable computers like this will routinely violate the privacy of others - very likely, somewhat likely, not very likely or not at all likely?
4* Some bars and restaurants are already banning the wearing of Google Glass on their premises to protect the privacy of their customers. Would you be more likely or less likely to go to a bar or restaurant that banned the wearing of Google Glass? Or would it have no impact on where you decide to go?
5* Should Americans be allowed to sue or otherwise legally penalize those who post photos and videos of them on the Internet without their permission?
NOTE: Margin of Sampling Error, +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence
