Chicago, IL/ Washington DC– August 3, 2011 – Public opinion pollster and analyst Scott Rasmussen hosts his second broadcast of The Rasmussen Report radio show this Sunday on WMAL 630AM in Washington, DC and WLS 890AM in Chicago, two of the nation’s top news talk radio stations. The show will be streamed live online as well.
Rasmussen, president and founder of Rasmussen Reports, the independent polling and media organization behind America’s popular public opinion website, will release new results on the GOP race in Iowa, discuss public reaction to the latest news, and invite listener call-ins. The one-hour program airs live on at 3pm ET/2pm CT on Sunday, August 7.
"The premiere of The Rasmussen Report radio show was well-received by listeners" said Drew Hayes, Operations Director for WLS-AM and WMAL-AM. "We’re excited to have him back as a guest host. He’s a seasoned observer and analyst of the dynamics between policymakers and constituents, and provides our audience with provocative insight on the ideological gaps between the two groups."
"This week’s show will continue to focus on the gap between Mainstream Americans and the Political Class," Scott Rasmussen added. "That gap has been clearly on display in the past few weeks and it’s not going away anytime soon.”
