Twitter or ‘X’? Many Users Aren’t Sold on Elon Musk’s Rebranding

Nearly half of regular users of the social platform formerly known as Twitter say the site has gotten better since Elon Musk purchased it last year, but they’re less enthusiastic about his rebranding it as “X.”

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 48% of American Adults who regularly use the platform say it’s gotten better under Musk’s ownership, while 28% think it’s gotten worse. Twenty-one percent (21%) believe Musk’s ownership of the site formerly known as Twitter has not made much difference. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
