1*
Should owners of restaurants, delis,
and other businesses that serve the public be allowed to establish dress codes
for people who want to enter their facility?
2* Some businesses require that their
customers dress modestly and don’t allow people wearing clothing such as very
low cut tops, bare midriffs, and extremely short skirts into their
establishments. Should businesses that serve the public be allowed to require
that their customers dress modestly?
3* On another topic, is the Supreme Court today
too friendly towards religion, too hostile to religion, or is the balance about
right?
4* Some churches provide a variety of community
services ranging from food banks and disaster relief to running schools and
hospitals. Generally speaking, is it good for a community to have churches
provide such services or is it bad?
5*
Suppose a community had absolutely no churches or
religious presence. Is it possible to have a healthy community without
churches?
6* Sometimes the deeply held religious views of
churches conflict with the views of others. A church wants to provide community
services, should it be allowed to follow its own beliefs or should it be
required to adhere to the views of the larger community?
7* Some churches provide a community service by
running hospitals. If performing an abortion violates that
church’s deeply held religious beliefs, should the church hospital be forced to
perform abortions
