Election Integrity: Most Voters Concerned About Issues Raised in Trump’s Speech
Revelations about China’s breach of American election systems have many voters worried in the wake of President Donald Trump’s speech on the subject last week.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 52% of Likely U.S. Voters watched at least part of Trump’s July 16 speech, either on TV or via social media. Forty-three percent (43%) haven’t seen any of Trump’s speech, which the NBC and ABC networks refused to broadcast live. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The survey of 1,104 U.S. Likely Voters was conducted on July 20-22, 2026 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC.
