56% Say Economy Got Worse in 2025
Most voters say America’s economy has worsened since last year, and fewer give President Donald Trump good marks for his handling of the economy.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 56% of Likely U.S. Voters believe the U.S. economy has gotten worse in the past year. Just 26% think the economy has gotten better, and 16% say it’s remained about the same in the past year. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
