1* The United States recently seized two oil tankers from Venezuela, saying that the tankers were subject to sanctions. Do you approve or disapprove of the U.S. seizing the Venezuelan oil tankers?

2* Many years ago, the government of Venezuela seized property owned by American oil companies as part of nationalizing Venezuela’s oil industry. President Trump said: “You remember they took all of our energy rights. They took all of our oil not that long ago. And we want it back.” Do you agree or disagree?

3* Three options have been suggested of what should be done with the oil from the seized Venezuelan tanks – the oil could be sold and the money go to the U.S. Treasury, the oil could be sold and the money go to compensate U.S. oil companies for the loss of property seized by Venezuela, or the oil could be added to the U.S. strategic petroleum reserve. Which would you favor?
