1* How would you rate the job Congress is doing in terms
of passing legislation that is important to the issues you care about –
excellent, good, fair or poor?
2* In the Senate, a filibuster can prevent a vote from
taking place unless 60 senators agree. Some want to change the Senate rules so
that a vote must be held whenever a majority of
senators agree. Do you favor or oppose changing the rules to eliminate the
filibuster?
3* Do you agree or disagree with this statement: "The
legislative filibuster... is the most important distinction between the Senate
and the House. Without the 60-vote threshold for legislation, the Senate
becomes a majoritarian institution like the House... no Senator would like to
see that happen"?
