3* Is the United Nations an enemy or an ally of the United States or somewhere in between?

4* A proposal has been made to have the United Nations take charge of Syria’s chemical weapons arsenal to avoid a U.S. military strike on Syria. How likely is it that UN control of Syria’s chemical weapons will prevent future U.S. military action against Syria?

5* The United States gives more money to the United Nations than any other country in the world, funding 22 percent of the regular UN budget and 27 percent of its peacekeeping budget. Should the United States continue to give more money to the UN than any other country in the world?
