1* How closely have you followed recent news reports about the federal government shutdown?

2* In terms of your own personal life, how much of an impact have you felt from the shutdown?

3*   Looking ahead, how will the shutdown impact the overall economy? Will it have a very positive impact, a somewhat positive impact, no impact, a somewhat negative impact or a very negative impact?

4*  Looking ahead again, in terms of your own life, will the shutdown have a very positive impact, a somewhat positive impact, no impact, a somewhat negative impact, or a very negative impact?

5* Some members of Congress refuse to approve a budget unless it slows or stops funding for the new health care law. Would you rather have Congress end the government shutdown by authorizing spending for the health care law at existing levels or would you rather continue the shutdown until spending for that law is cut?
