1* How closely have you followed recent news reports about legislation before Congress dealing with sexual assault in the military?

 

2*How serious a problem is sexual assault in the U.S. military?

 

3* How would you rate the U.S. military’s handling of sexual assaults – excellent, good, fair or poor?

 

4* In order to ensure that more sexual assault cases in the military are prosecuted, a proposal has been made to move the decision on whether a sexual assault case is tried away from  military commanders and into the hands of military judge advocates. Do you favor or oppose a proposal that would take prosecuting decisions on sexual assault cases away from military commanders?

 

5* Will the growing role of women in uniform and the decision to allow gays and lesbians to serve openly increase or decrease the number of sexual assaults in the military? Or will they have no impact on the problem?
