Questions - NSA - Dec 14-15, 2013

National Survey of 1,000 Likely Voters
Conducted December 14-15, 2013
By Rasmussen Reports

1* How closely have you followed recent news stories about the National Security Agency’s surveillance programs?

2* Edward Snowden, a former employee of a government contractor, has admitted to leaking information about NSA phone and e-mail surveillance programs. Some say he is a heroic whistleblower. Others say he is a traitor who endangered lives and national security. Is Snowden a hero, a traitor, somewhere in between, or is it too early to tell?

3* Regardless of what you think of Edward Snowden, is it good or bad for the nation that the American people now know more about the NSA surveillance programs?

4* How likely is it that the continuing disclosure of NSA phone and email surveillance programs is hurting U.S. national security?

5* To stop further disclosures, should the federal government grant Snowden full amnesty from prosecution in exchange for his return of all classified information that he still possesses?
