1* How closely have you followed recent news reports about the federal budget talks in Washington, DC?

2*  Congress ended the government shutdown in October with a short-term deal to fund the federal government through mid-January. How likely is it that Congress will reach a long-term budget deal by then and avoid another government?

3* As Congress attempts to reach a long-term budget deal, which do you favor – a federal budget that increases spending or one that cuts spending? Or would you favor a budget in which spending levels remain about the same?

4* In terms of your own personal life, how much of an impact did you feel from the government shutdown?

5* How did the shutdown impact the overall economy? Did it have a very positive impact, a somewhat positive impact, no impact, a somewhat negative impact or a very negative impact?
