2* Suppose you had a choice between a candidate who signed a pledge not to raise taxes and another candidate who refused to sign such a pledge. For whom would you vote?

3* Has your member of Congress signed a pledge not to raise taxes?

4* [If yes to above] Suppose President Obama proposed a deal to reduce the deficit that included equal amounts of tax hikes and spending cuts. Would you want your representative to honor their anti-tax pledge and vote against it or would you rather have them support the plan proposed by President Obama?
