Finance Concerns Cause Worker Confidence to Drop in November

For the second consecutive month, worker confidence decreased in the Twin Cities, as the Hudson Employment IndexSM for the city dropped 1.9 points in November to 92.1. A significant increase in expected layoffs and job security concerns contributed to the overall decline. This month’s reading was 12 points lower than last November’s reading of 104.1. The composite Index, based on responses from approximately 9,000 workers nationwide, improved this month, gaining nearly four points to 105.3.
