42% Say U.S. Winning War on Terror
35% Say Terrorists Winning
A survey conducted before terrorist leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was killed found that 42% of American adults believed the U.S. and its allies are winning the War on Terror. That’s up from 40% a month earlier and matches the highest level of optimism since January.
However, the survey also found that the percentage of Americans who believe the terrorists are winning jumped to 35% from 30% a month ago.
