1* How important is it for
Congress to pass comprehensive immigration reform legislation this year?
2* The U.S. Senate has passed a comprehensive immigration reform plan
that would secure the border and prevent future illegal immigration. As part of
the plan, those who entered the country illegally but have otherwise obeyed
the law would be given legal status to stay in the United States. Do
you favor or oppose this plan?
3* Should
those who are now in this country illegally be granted legal status right away
or should that come only after the border is secured?
4* If a law is passed to secure the border, prevent future
illegal immigration and allow those who entered the country illegally to stay,
how likely is it that the federal government will actually secure the border
and prevent illegal immigration?
5* Should the House of
Representatives pass the comprehensive immigration reform plan already approved
by the Senate, or should it review that legislation piece by piece and approve
only the parts it likes?
