1* The current Congress is reconvening next week for a so-called lame duck session. Should the current Congress consider major new legislation during the lame duck session or should it wait until the newly elected members of Congress take office in January?

 

 2* How likely is it that the lame duck Congress will pass major legislation between now and January?

 

3*  With Republicans taking charge of the House in January, how likely is it that House Democrats will try to pass major new legislation before the newly elected Republicans take office? 

 

4* Should the time between Election Day and the swearing-in of new Congress members be shorter?

 

5* How likely is it that major legislation to improve the country will be passed during the first 100 days of the new Congress?
