1* How closely have you been following recent news reports about President Obama’s national health care law?

2* The president’s health care law includes an individual mandate requiring every American to buy or obtain health insurance. Starting next year, if Americans don’t have health insurance, they will be forced to pay fines. Do you favor or oppose an individual mandate that requires every American to buy or obtain health insurance?

3* The president’s law also includes an employer mandate requiring companies with 50 or more employees offer health insurance to their employees. Do you favor or oppose an employer mandate requiring companies with 50 or more employees to offer health insurance?

4* The Obama Administration just announced it will delay implementation of the employer mandate requiring companies to offer health insurance. Should it also delay implementation of the individual mandate requiring every American to buy or obtain health insurance?

5* The president’s health care law provides health insurance subsidies for low-income Americans who don’t have access to health insurance from their employer. To qualify for subsidies, should these individuals be forced to prove they are eligible by documenting their income and lack of access to insurance? Or, should it simply be assumed that all applicants are giving honest information on their applications?
