1* Is it more important for government to operate efficiently or more important to preserve our constitutional system of checks and balances?

 

2* Which of the three branches of the federal government is most important – the executive, the legislative or the judiciary? Or are they all of equal importance?

 

3* Generally speaking, do court challenges of actions approved by the president and Congress help protect the rights of U.S. citizens, or are they mostly nuisances that stand in the way of good policy?

 

4* Should the president have the right to ignore federal court rulings if they are standing in the way of actions he feels are important for the country?

 

5* Do the actions of the U.S. government today represent the desires of most Americans, or is the government more responsive to special interest groups?
