1* How closely have
you followed recent news reports about the Central Intelligence Agency?
2* The Senate
Intelligence Committee has released a report detailing the CIA's use of harsh
interrogation methods including waterboarding to interrogate terrorism
suspects. Should waterboarding and other aggressive interrogation techniques be
used to gain information from suspected terrorists?
3* Did
the CIA's interrogation of terrorism suspects provide valuable information that
helped the United States and its allies in the War on Terror?
4* The House and
Senate intelligence committees are charged with oversight of the CIA. Are these
committees adequately aware of what the CIA is doing or does the spy agency
keep secrets from Congress?
5* Some in the
national security community warned against making the results of the Senate
investigation public, saying it's likely to cause reprisal attacks against
Americans overseas. Which is more important - for the public to know the full
extent of the CIA's interrogation methods or to protect the safety of Americans
from terrorist attacks whenever possible?
