members of Congress are home for the August recess, many are holding town halls
for their voters. Have you attended a town hall meeting held by one of your
members of Congress this month, or are you likely to attend one before the end
of the month?
4* When members
of Congress hold town hall meetings, is it more important for them to explain
legislation to people or is it more important for them to hear the views of
their constituents?
5* Generally
speaking, are those protesting at town hall meetings citizens reflecting the
concerns of their neighbors or are the protests phony efforts drummed up
by special interest groups and lobbyists?
