51% Say It’s Important For Congress To Protect Mueller

Tuesday, April 24, 2018

Voters are closely divided over whether Special Counsel Robert Mueller will wrap up his probe of the 2016 election any time soon, but just over half think Congress may need to save his job from President Trump.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 45% of Likely U.S. Voters think Mueller is likely to wrap us his investigation within the next six months. Just as many (46%), however, consider that unlikely. This includes 15% who say it’s Very Likely the special counsel will be done in six months’ time and 14% who say it’s Not At All Likely.
