In Wisconsin, U.S. Senator Russ Feingold has a ten point lead over Republican challenger Tim Michels. Libertarian Arif Kahn earn 2% of the vote.

Feingold does equally well among men and women. He attracts more support from those over 40 than from younger voters.

Forty-five percent (45%) of Wisconsin voters believe the country is generally heading in the right direction while 52% disagree.

Six years ago, Feingold won by a 52% to 48% margin. Early in this campaign season, some Republicans had viewed Feingold as beatable and a possible pick-up for their party. However, with Feingold enjoying a double-digit lead, the state remains in the Democratic column for our Senate Overview.

Just 83% of Feingold's voters also plan to vote for John Kerry making the Wisconsin Presidential ballot too close to call.

In Wisconsin, 53% of all voters Approve of the way President Bush is performing his job. That's unchanged from a month ago and near his national Job Approval rating.
