In Arizona, the latest Rasmussen Reports survey finds President George W. Bush with 50% of the vote and Senator John Kerry with 45%. Libertarian Michael Badnarik attracts 3% of the state's vote.

This is our first Election 2004 survey in Arizona and leaves the state in the President's column for our Electoral College projections. Four years ago, Bush won the state by six percentage points, 51% to 45%.

Bush currently leads by seven points among men in the state and by 3 points among women.

Fifty-four percent (54%) of the state's voters approve of the way the President is performing his job.

Fifty-two percent (52%) have a favorable opinion of the President while 45% say the same about Kerry.
