Beebe 49% Hutchinson 38%

For the second straight month, Democrat Mike Beebe holds an 11-point lead over Republican Asa Hutchinson in the Arkansas Governor's Race.

The two men are competing to replace term limited Governor Mike Huckabee (R). Huckabee appears to be leaving office on good terms with his Job Approval rating at 60%.

Beebe currently earns support for 49% of the state's Likely Voters while Hutchinson attracts 38% support. Last month, Beebe held a 47% to 36% advantage. In February, Beebe led by ten points.

Beebe is viewed favorably by 64% of the state's voters while Hutchinson is viewed favorably by 58%. For both men, that's a one-point drop over the past month.

Senator Hillary Clinton, formerly the First Lady of Arkansas, is is viewed favorably by 51% of Arkansas voters. Nationally, Clinton remains a polarizing figure with roughly equal numbers holding a favorable or unfavorable opinion.

Sixty-one percent (61%) of Arkansas voters agree that the goal of our immigration policy should be to welcome all except national security threats, criminals, and welfare-seekers. Seventy-seven percent (77%) believe that existing rules should be enforced before new immigration reforms are considered.

Both of the above figures are a bit higher than the national average. They are also higher than most of the other 32 states we polled on the topic..

The rolling average of the last three Rasmussen Reports election polls in Arkansas shows Beebe ahead 48% to 37%.
