5* How closely have you followed recent news reports about Detroit?

 

6* Do you agree or disagree with Governor Rick Snyder's decision to name an emergency financial manager for the city of Detroit?

 

7* Do you agree or disagree with that financial manager's decision to have Detroit file for bankruptcy?

 

8* Nine foundations have pledged $330 million dollars to help pay pension funds for retired employees in Detroit. This amount falls short of the money needed to pay all pensions in full, should the federal government bail out Detroit for the remaining difference?

 

9* Whom or what is primarily to blame for Detroit's bankruptcy…the decline of the U.S. auto industry, bad government, the voters, the economy in general, the flight of middle-class taxpayers from the city or something else?
