The race for Pennsylvania's 21 Electoral Votes is too close to call. The latest Rasmussen Reports survey of the Keystone state finds Senator John Kerry with 49% of the vote and President George W. Bush with 46%. For much of October, our daily Tracking Polls in Pennsylvania showed the Senator ahead by 1-3 percentage points each day. More recently, he has enjoyed a somewhat larger lead for a few days. Along with Michigan, Ohio, and Florida, Pennsylvania is one of the largest Battleground states in Election 2004. These four states account for the bulk of the Electoral Votes that are currently in play and could go to either Bush or Kerry. Rasmussen Reports Premium Members receive daily Tracking Poll updates for all four of these states plus Minnesota. The current survey has no impact on our Electoral College projections--Pennsylvania remains in the Toss-Up category. Fifty percent (50%) of Pennsylvania voters have a favorable opinion of President Bush. Fifty-four percent (54%) have a favorable opinion of Senator Kerry. In Pennsylvania, 49% of all voters Approve of the way President Bush is performing his job. That's down from earlier in the month and below his national Job Approval rating. Rasmussen Reports has recently released state election polls for Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, West Virginia, Washington, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
