Four years ago, New Hampshire cast its Electoral Votes for George W. Bush. Today, however, it is the only "Red State" from Election 2000 where the President is not tied or ahead.

The latest Rasmussen Reports survey found that Senator Kerry attracts 49% of the New Hampshire vote while President Bush has 47%. A month ago, Kerry was ahead by six percentage points in the state and New Hampshire was listed as "Leans Kerry" for our Electoral College projections. Today, however, we are moving the state back to Toss-Up status.

In New Hampshire, Kerry currently attracts 15% of the state's Republicans vote (down from 19% a month ago). Bush gets just 11% from Democrats (down from 13%a month ago). In most states and in the national polls, Bush earns more crossover votes than Kerry.

In New Hampshire, the President's Job Approval is at 49, up from 47% a month ago.%.

Forty-three percent (43%) say the U.S. is heading in the right direction while 55% disagree and say we are off on the wrong track.

Rasmussen Reports has recently released state election polls for Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, West Virginia, Washington, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
