In Missouri, the latest Rasmussen Reports survey finds a race that is too close to call. President George W. Bush attracts 44% of the vote to 43% for Senator John F. Kerry. Four years ago, Bush won the state of Missouri by a narrow 50% to 47% margin. While there are a few exceptions, most of our state polls this year reflect results similar to those from four years ago. A Rasmussen Reports survey in March found Bush with a 7-point lead in Missouri. At this point in time, our daily Tracking Poll shows the race is also too close to call on a national basis.. The national poll is updated daily by noon Eastern. Fifty-four percent (54%) of Missouri voters Approve of the way Bush is performing his job as President. In Missouri, there is a huge gender gap with Bush leading among men and Kerry leading among women. Bush also leads among Investors while Kerry leads among non-Investors. Data for Missouri will updated again early next month. Rasmussen Reports has also recently released polling data for the states of Georgia, Illinois, New York, Texas, California and Ohio. Other state polling data will be released each day this week.
