Most U.S. Voters Think Brexit is Going to Happen
Despite the turmoil in Britain, as two senior cabinet members to Prime Minister Theresa May resigned with just 100 days until the so-called Brexit deal is supposed to be done, most on this side of the pond think the ouster is still a go.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 65% of Likely U.S. voters think it is at least somewhat likely that Great Britain will actually quit the European Union, a departure known as “Brexit.” Just 20% do not think it’s likely Great Britain will actually quit the EU. This includes 24% who believe it’s Very Likely and just two percent (2%) who think it’s Not At All Likely Brexit will happen. Fourteen percent (14%) are undecided. The survey of 1,000 Likely U.S. Voters was conducted on July 10, 2018 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.
