National Survey of 1,000 American Adults

Conducted November 30 – December 1, 2015
By New York Daily News/Rasmussen Reports

1* Will more gun control keep guns out of the hands of criminals, people with mental illness and suspected terrorists? Or is it more likely to make it harder for law-abiding citizens to purchase a gun?

2* Which is the most effective way to keep guns out of the hands of potential mass shooters – more thorough background checks, longer waiting periods, more rigorous testing of the mentally ill, mandatory jail sentences for criminal use of a gun or something else?

3* The NRA supports gun policies that make all Americans safer. Do you strongly agree, somewhat agree, somewhat disagree or strongly disagree with this statement?
