Today is Free Shipping Day, when many online retailers offer free shipping on gifts in time for Christmas, but online shopping is already more popular than ever with Americans for holiday shopping this year.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 83% of American Adults plan to do at least some of their holiday gift shopping online this year, including 33% who plan to do all or most of their shopping on the Internet. Just 15% won’t be going online at all to buy gifts this year. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
