* Suppose a government regulator is responsible for making a decision which would have a significant impact on the future of a business. If the regulator rules in favor of the company and then goes to work for the company, is that a conflict of interest?

* Do companies that regularly hire former government employees get better treatment from regulators?

* Should companies that offer jobs to regulators be banned from doing business with the government?

* Do some companies routinely hire former regulators specifically to get favorable treatment from the government?

* Some people believe there should be a ban on regulators going to work for companies they oversee. Should there be a lifetime ban on regulators working for companies they regulate, a five-year ban, or no ban on regulators working for companies they regulate?

* When a company offers a regulator a job, is that a form of a bribe?
