Conducted June 17-18, 2013
By Rasmussen Reports

1* If a reporter gets leaked information from a government whistle-blower, should the reporter be prosecuted for publishing that information?

2* Edward Snowden, a former employee of a government contractor, has admitted to leaking information about National Security Agency phone and email surveillance programs. Some say he is a heroic whistleblower. Others say he is a traitor who endangered lives and national security. Is Snowden a hero, a traitor, somewhere in between, or is it too early to tell?

3* How likely is it that the public disclosure of the NSA phone and email surveillance programs has hurt U.S. national security?

4* Defenders of the NSA surveillance program say that it has deterred several terrorist attacks. Do you believe they are telling the truth or are they just trying to justify the surveillance program?
