2* Is the separation of Church and State supposed to protect the Church from the government or the government from the Church?

3* Workers cleaning up after the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center raised a cross-shaped steel beam found in the rubble as a symbol of hope. Now a group is suing to keep it from being included in the memorial being built on the site, saying it violates the separation of church and state. Do you favor or oppose including the so-called 9/11 cross in the memorial on the World Trade Center site?
