1* In thinking about the federal income tax, is it better to have lower tax rates and very few tax deductions or higher tax rates and lots of deductions?

 

2* Would it be a good idea to eliminate all deductions for everyone who earn more than $100,000 a year and to lower tax rates for all Americans?

 

 

3* Is it better for the economy if the government provides targeted tax breaks to help certain companies and industries or if it treats all companies and industries on an equal basis?

 

 

4* The federal government provides subsidies for automakers developing vehicles that run on alternative sources of energy. Should the companies pay for this research themselves or should the research be subsidized by the federal government

 

5* The federal government provides Technology Innovation Program grants to fund research in new technology. Grants have been provided to many large corporations such as IBM and General Electric. Should the federal government provide Technology Innovation Program Grants to large corporations?
