Rasmussen Reports, LLC Grows Staff and Web site

Beth Chunn Joins Staff as Marketing Manager of Platinum Services; Alexandra Boyer Is New Web Administrator; Growth Marks Commitment to Enhanced Subscription Site and Customer Service

Asbury Park, NJ – Rasmussen Reports, LLC, the electronic media company specializing in the collection, publications and distribution of public opinion polling information, welcomes two new additions to its staff as it continues a cycle of corporate growth: Beth Chunn comes aboard as Marketing Manager for the company’s subscription-based Platinum Service and Alexandra Boyer joins as Web site Administrator.

“We are proud to welcome Beth and Alexandra to the Rasmussen Reports family,” said President and CEO Scott Rasmussen.  “Beth’s expertise will be instrumental taking our Platinum subscription site to a higher, more productive and user-friendly level in both content and customer service.  Alexandra’s abilities will enable us to further develop new site content.”

Chunn will be responsible for management and marketing of the Rasmussen Reports.com Platinum Service, a paid subscription site.  With an eye on growing revenue, she will be responsible for client service as well as engaging partnerships and promotions with outside groups.  Chunn is a veteran of marketing customer solicitation and retention programs.  Prior to joining Rasmussen Reports, she was with Meridian Health as a Loyalty Marketing Specialist and Merrill Lynch as Loyalty Marketing Manager and Vice President.  Earlier, she worked at Morgan Stanley as Vice-President Director of Lead Management and Promotions. All totaled, her marketing experience spans 15 years executing multi-faceted, new and existing client acquisition and retention campaigns and content creation.  Chunn has a B.A. in Journalism from Ithaca College, New York.

Alexandra Boyer joins the team as Website Administrator, responsible for the writing, producing and posting of online content for RasmussenReports.com.  A recent college graduate, Boyer’s experience includes work as a staff writer for The Daily Targum, the Rutgers University campus newspaper in New Brunswick, N.J., and Page Editor/Contributor for Alum Knights, the Rutgers journalism alumni newspaper.  She has also interned at NJ-based radio station WRAT-FM.  She has a B.A. in journalism and media studies, with a minor in Spanish.

Both staff additions, along with others made within the last year, will enable the company to grow and evolve RasmussenReports.com, the most-trafficked public opinion Web site.  Its corporate mission is to provide an expansive selection of reliable, timely, actionable information and data to both the public and its subscription members, with special attention being paid to its Platinum Service.

“Over the next few weeks and months, more and more content will be reserved exclusively for our Platinum Members,” said Rasmussen.  “We are excited to be able to offer deeper data, more trend charts, indexes, media meters and the like to those who want to get inside the numbers and topics we poll about.”

Specifically, Rasmussen will be developing trend charts showing public opinion on a state-by–state basis for topics like immigration and healthcare. Daily Consumer and Investor Indexes will become members-only.  More one-on-one insight and analysis from Scott Rasmussen will be made available in blog posts and video.  Question/answer and idea forums will be established.  State media meters, gauging media sentiment and frequency for politicians and public figures are also accessible within the Platinum site forum.

“We’re looking to engage on a more one-on-one level with our member,” explains Rasmussen.  “To enhance their user-experience and become their singular source for polls and information, presented in interesting and unique ways.”

We conduct public opinion polls on a variety of topics to inform our audience on events in the news and other topics of interest. To ensure editorial control and independence, we pay for the polls ourselves and generate revenue through the sale of subscriptions, sponsorships, and advertising. Nightly polling on politics, business and lifestyle topics provides the content to update the Rasmussen Reports web site many times each day. If it's in the news, it's in our polls. Additionally, the data drives a daily update newsletter and various media outlets across the country.

Some information, including the Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll and commentaries are available for free to the general public. Subscriptions are available for $4.95 a month or 34.95 a year that provide subscribers with exclusive access to more than 20 stories per week on upcoming elections, consumer confidence, and issues that affect us all.
