What America Thinks with Scott Rasmussen: 2012 Year in Review

Santa Monica, CA – Independent pollster Scott Rasmussen hosts “What America Thinks with Scott Rasmussen: 2012 Year in Review,” a nationally syndicated special to be broadcast between December 13th and January 6th. The one-hour program features the latest year-end polling numbers on various issues in the news during 2012—from the national elections to the status of the economy to current news, lifestyle events and sports.

Scott and nationally-known personalities will offer analysis and commentary, drawing upon the Rasmussen Reports public opinion polling results during the past twelve months.

The year’s biggest story—the presidential election—will kick off the program, followed by segments on the economy and how decisions in Washington will affect the economic future. The program also will include the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the health care reform law, the ‘fiscal cliff’, immigration and foreign policy, as well as some of the more somber events of 2012, such as the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, Hurricane Sandy and the Colorado movie theater tragedy. The program will address America’s love of sports and the controversies surrounding Lance Armstrong and Penn State.

The program concludes with a look at what Americans predict for 2013. This segment will feature man-on-the-street interviews and a final word from Scott Rasmussen.

So far, 84 stations have signed up for the special, including new clearances in Dallas KXAS (NBC), Indianapolis WTHR (NBC) and Las Vegas KLAS (CBS).
