Rasmussen Reports, LLC Hires Three New Staffers

John Troyan named Sales Manager; Debra Falk is new Communications Director; Alexander Napoliello joins as Website Administrator

October 20, 2009 – Asbury Park, NJ –Rasmussen Reports, LLC, an electronic media company specializing in public opinion polling, is announcing three new additions to its staff this week. These hires expand the company’s sales, communications and online divisions and will work to heighten the visibility of its data products, including RasmussenReports.com, the most visited public opinion Web site in the country.

John Troyan is newly-appointed Sales Manager and will be responsible for all corporate sales initiatives, including online advertising, sponsored index product and Web page sponsorships, as well as new client and partnership cultivation. Prior to joining Rasmussen Reports, Troyan served as Nielsen Business Media’s Sales Director, Digital Events in their Business Development Group, where he managed the sales efforts for 11 brands including The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard and AdWeek. His experience in media-specific sales and advertising spans 16 years, and includes 12 years with entertainment trade papers Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, where he worked closely with studio heads and producers on dozens of Academy Award campaigns. A seasoned client relationship builder with the ability to create and manage customized sponsorship opportunities, his efforts have generated millions of dollars in sales revenue. Troyan has a BS in Business Economics from the State University of New York College at Oneonta.

Debra Falk is now Rasmussen Reports’ Director of Communications, responsible for handling day-to-day media relations along with institutional branding and Premium Service customer programs. Most recently she was Team Manager of Programming Communications at New York public media company WNET.ORG, where she executed high-profile, multi-faceted publicity campaigns to promote the station’s national series, including American Masters, Nature and Secrets of the Dead. Earlier, she worked at Zullo Associates, Inc., a marketing communications firm in Princeton, NJ, where she managed national ad campaigns and special events for an array of food, beverage and retail clients, including Farmland Dairies, Finlandia and Mercedes-Benz. She has a BA magna cum laude in American Studies and English from Rutgers University.

Alexander Napoliello joins the team as Website Administrator, responsible for the writing, producing and posting of online content for RasmussenReports.com. A recent college graduate, Napoliello’s experience includes work as a staff writer for New York’s thewaster.com, covering the music beat with reviews and feature stories. He was also a member of the news team and on-air host at WRSU, the Rutgers University campus radio station in New Brunswick, N.J., where he prepared news broadcasts and produced a two-hour morning show highlighting current events, music and sports. He also interned at top-rated New York radio station WPLJ-FM. He has a BA in Journalism and Media Studies from Rutgers and also studied electronic media at Kutztown University.
