Advertisment

In Oklahoma, the latest Rasmussen Reports survey shows President Bush with 63% of the vote and Senator Kerry with 31%. In Election 2000, Bush won Oklahoma by twenty-two percentage points, beating Al Gore 60% to 38%.

This reflects a somewhat bigger lead for the President than our last month's Oklahoma poll. At that time, Bush had a twenty-five-point advantage over Kerry 59% to 34%. Oklahoma remains solidly in the Bush category for our Electoral College projections.

In Oklahoma, Republicans and Democrats overwhelmingly prefer the candidate from their own party. Among investors, Bush leads 71% to 27%. The President's Job Approval is at 70% among investors.

Sixty-three percent (63%) of all Oklahoma voters Approve of the way President Bush is performing his job. That's well above his national Job Approval rating.

Data for Oklahoma will be updated again early next month.
