New York: Kerry 58% Bush 30%

In New York, the latest Rasmussen Reports survey shows Senator Kerry with 58% of the vote and President Bush with 30%. Four years ago, Al Gore defeated Bush to carry New York by a 25 point margin. Last month, it was Kerry 57% Bush 34% in our New York poll. The New York survey shows the President getting just 61% of Republican votes in the state. Senator Kerry leads 56% to 29% among unaffiliated voters. In New York, 37% of all voters Approve of the way President Bush is performing his job. That's down four points from a month ago and well below his national Job Approval rating. Data for New York will be updated again early next month.
