Arkansas: Kerry 46% Bush 46%

The race for the six Electoral College votes from Arkansas is tied.

The latest Rasmussen Reports survey shows Senator Kerry with 46% of the vote and President Bush with 46%. Last month, it was Kerry 46% Bush 45%. Two months ago, it was Bush 48% Kerry 43%. Bush won the state's Electoral Votes four years ago by a five point margin.

Arkansas remains in the Toss-up column in our Electoral College projection.

Investors in Arkansas prefer the President by a five-percentage point margin, 51 - 46, while non-Investors prefer Kerry 47 - 41.

In Arkansas, 53% of all voters Approve of the way President Bush is performing his job. That's up three points from a month ago and slightly above his national Job Approval rating.

Data for Arkansas will be updated again early next month.
